Meet the charming Freddy, a delightful 9-year-old Chihuahua who is ready to steal your heart! 💖 This sweet little man, with a twinkle of mischief in his eye (well, one eye anyway!), was surrendered to the rescue when his previous owner had to move into a nursing home. But don’t let that story tug too hard on your heartstrings—Freddy is a trooper! Freddy is a spunky little guy who is fully housebroken and bursting with energy! He has a soft spot for other small dogs and even gets along with the resident cat in his foster home. 🐾 Curiosity is his middle name, as he loves to follow the cat around, always eager for a little adventure. And let’s not forget—this cuddle bug just adores being held and snuggling under the covers with his foster mom and his pack of six furry friends. 💤 Although Freddy may be blind in one eye due to a cataract, that doesn’t slow him down! Oh no! He has been checked by our vet, and everything is in tip-top shape. 🎉 His gentle nature means he’s wonderfully quiet and rarely barks, making him the perfect companion for those peaceful moments at home. Now, Freddy will need a secure environment because he loves to explore! If he’s off-leash, he might make a break for it, so a leash or a safe run is a must. 🚶‍♂️ Ideally, he would thrive with a retired couple or a senior lady, and having another small dog around might just sprinkle some extra joy into his life. While we are unsure about big dogs, he certainly seems to be well socialized and doesn’t have any issues with strangers popping into the house. With a lovable, relaxed demeanor and no destructive behaviors, Freddy is just waiting for a forever home where he can share all his cuddly goodness!
