Picture a chubby little rascal who came into our lives in, shall we say, 'less than fabulous' condition. He was pretty rotund—let's just say he had a few too many treats! 🍔 But oh, how times have changed! Now he’s on a healthy diet and enjoying exercise that has him looking trimmer than ever! \n\nFarley is almost 3 years old, which means he falls into the 'COVID shepherd' category. Isn’t it wild how many fur babies joined us during those strange times? He may have a bit of fear-based reactivity while on a leash, but let me tell you, he is a ball of joy off-leash! 🎾 He could fetch with his beloved chuck-it all day long. \n\nHis journey hasn’t been an easy one. Can you believe he’s been owned by six different people? Yes, beloved friends, he has crossed state lines from Texas to Maine in search of a fix for his life’s bittersweet saga. After a few misadventures, he almost ended up in a place that would have made his story even sadder, but not on our watch! 😳 Farley has thrived at our doggie daycare, and he’s eager to make furry friends. His manners on-leash are getting a makeover, and he’s doing it like a superstar! ⭐ \n\nNow, let’s just chat about his temperament. Without a doubt, this boy could light up a room! He’s met plenty of people and even some cats, and he’s been a total gentleman—no scratches or bites, just a little shyness when it comes to quick movements, especially around men. Maybe that’s a leftover from his rough past, but fear not! With kindness and patience, he’s learning the ropes of a gentle home. ❤️ Given his history, he’ll need a family willing to work with our wonderful trainer, Shannon (CCPDT).
