Sadly, just ten months later, he found himself back with us, overwhelmed with confusion about what went wrong. 🐾 Rushed back into our arms, Roo was sent off for three weeks of in-board training where he finally got the love and structure he needed. Since his return in August, Roo has been bouncing from foster home to foster home, but here’s the incredible part—his spirit remains unbroken! 💖 This boy still loves wholeheartedly, trusts without hesitation, and hopes for a family to call his own. Roo is an energetic hound mix who thrives on companionship and consistency—like a fine wine, he just needs the right blend of exercise and love! 🍷 He’s been working hard on his manners—no more counter surfing or dashing out of doors. While he’s making strides in his training, Roo struggles with being crated because he wants nothing more than to be with his humans. What Roo needs is someone who can work from home or is around often, someone patient and filled with kindness. Ideally, a furry buddy—another playful dog—would help him feel even more secure. 🐕 He adores other dogs, but because of his playful energy, we don’t recommend him for homes with small children.
