✨ Meet Journey, the furry embodiment of resilience and love! This beautiful soul is back with us, and her journey has been quite the saga. Arriving on the scene originally in August 2023, Journey faced hardships that would break the spirit of many, but not her! 😍 After spending nearly four months waiting for the perfect family, she finally found a home that we hoped would be her forever haven. But oh, life has its plot twists! In October 2025, she was sadly abandoned by her adopter. Imagine that heartbreak! 😢 For a while, Journey was cared for by her former roommate's family, who were doing their best to provide for her while waiting for her owner to come back. Lo and behold, that never happened, and now here she is, back at our shelter, ready for another chance at love. Journey is a wonderful companion, having previously lived with adult men, women, and even a little 6-year-old. Although her experiences with the child didn't go too smoothly due to the jumping around, she is totally housebroken and is a star at commands like "sit" and "shake"! ✋🐾 You’ll often find her roaming freely around the house when the family is home, and she once had access to a fenced yard which she enjoyed exploring (she did enjoy her 'tie-out' times too!). Oh, but there’s more to this lovely lady! Journey LOVES her rope toys—seriously, they’re her jam! 🎾 However, she prefers a quieter environment as she’s a bit of a scaredy-cat when it comes to loud noises. She has been noted to be neutral around cats, but her reactions to other dogs are still a bit of a mystery. Let’s give this remarkable lady the loving home she truly deserves.
