Meet the fabulous Piper! 🎉 This adorable, 3-month-old mixed breed puppy, weighing in at around 21 lbs, has an irresistible blend of Labrador Retriever and Hound charm that will steal your heart! ❤️ Just imagine those big, beautiful green eyes staring up at you. She came from a bustling household in Oklahoma, where she and her twelve siblings were surrendered—talk about a furry family reunion! 🐾 Piper is a bundle of joy, with a stunning tan and white smooth coat that just begs for cuddle time. But don’t let her cuteness fool you; this girl has a playful side too! 🏃‍♀️ She's the life of the party, known to romp around with a toy tightly clenched in her mouth, ready to bring endless laughter into any room. Although she can be a little bossy (she’s got five pounds on her sister, after all!), she has a heart full of affection and loves to snuggle up after a day full of play. 🤗💖 Currently, Piper is doing great with house and crate training, but she’ll need a bit more work to truly master it. No worries, she's up for the challenge! She’s already mingling well with other dogs and living harmoniously with a teenage girl and four foster siblings—talk about a social butterfly! 🦋 However, she hasn’t met any cats yet, so that’s still a mystery waiting to unfold. Now, before jumping in to adopt this lovely girl, just a quick note: Piper has not completed her vetting and will not be spayed until February 4, 2026. So, applications are currently only being accepted from folks within a 30-minute radius of Des Moines until after her spay.
