While she does her best to socialize, Jersey has a refined taste for companionship; she prefers laid-back dogs who match her chill vibe, and she’s not so fond of those hyperactive pups who want to play hard! She’s more of a queen, and let’s face it, she likes to reign supreme! 👑🐶 Although Jersey has attended multiple adoption events and struts her stuff in public like a superstar, she's still learning how to play nicely with other dogs, but make no mistake—she's as sweet as can be! With no history of aggression, Jersey really shines when she gets to take center stage. 🌟 However, she, unfortunately, has not been around cats; let's just say that her house is likely better cat-free due to a sneaky prey drive! Now, if there’s one thing Jersey loves more than lounging in the sun (and isn't that glorious?), it’s food! 🍽️✨ When she first arrived, she was a bit underweight, but that quickly changed; she dives into her meals as if she’s starring in a cooking show! This beauty will lick her bowl clean every single time and is the absolute connoisseur of treats! When it’s time for snuggles, Jersey is all about her humans! She’ll happily curl up for cuddles, but don’t be surprised if she retreats to her comfy bed for some alone time. Being kennel trained and house trained, she rolls with the good times! 🚗 Jersey is an excellent car passenger and really enjoys outdoor zoomies, making a fenced yard ideal for her energetic bursts. But fear not, with the right family setup and exercise plan, even leash walks can suit her just fine, though she does need a bit of training on that recall! With her vigilant personality, Jersey keeps a close eye on her yard and is quick to alert about “stranger danger”—watch out, possums! She's already completed her health care with vaccinations, spaying, and microchipping, and she has overcome a battle with heartworms to come out as the hero she is! 💪🎉 Currently, she’s fostered in the Pensacola, FL area.
