Isn’t that the cutest? Poppy's personality is a perfect blend of feistiness, playfulness, and snuggly warmth. She thrives on playtime with her big pittie foster brother and sometimes gets so carried away with excitement that she forgets her leash manners! Oops! But fear not, this lovely lady is learning and having a blast in the process. She just adores walks and outdoor adventures, so a backyard where she can frolic to her heart's content would make her absolutely ecstatic! 🌼 Now, let’s talk about training; this smart cookie is way ahead of the game! Poppy is crate trained and sleeps through the night like a little angel. She wakes around 6 AM for a potty break, then happily snuggles for another hour on those lazy weekend mornings—who wouldn’t love that? ☕️💤. She already knows how to “sit” (and offers it up like a little superstar when she wants something). Currently, she’s working on “down” and practicing patience, which can be a tough order when everything seems so exciting! 🐶 Hungry for treats? You’ll find that Poppy is food-motivated in the best way—she hasn't met a treat she doesn’t adore! Plus, she doesn’t have any concerning chewing habits, especially if she has the right alternatives available. Her house training is coming along splendidly, and she’s eager to learn more. Most importantly, Poppy is a total cuddle bug who cherishes people. She loves to snuggle up, learn new things, explore her surroundings, and be near her humans. 🥰 **Important Adoption Note:** Because Poppy is expected to grow into a large adult dog, only current homeowners can apply for her. This isn’t a usual requirement for our rescue; however, we want to ensure that there are no breed or weight restrictions that could hinder her happiness as she grows.
