He arrived in a less-than-stellar condition, battling severe dermatitis, ear and eye infections, and heartbreakingly, significant obesity. 😢 But wait—there's more! Bear had to undergo a surgery to remove both of his eyes, which means he sees the world in a completely fresh perspective—just not the way he used to. But don’t fret! He's learning to navigate life beautifully through his other senses. With each passing day, Bear is discovering his surroundings, bumping into things less often, and building that charming confidence of his. 🌟 Now, Bear's looking for a kind, patient home where he can feel safe and loved. While he was often in pain before his surgery, and it made him a bit grumpy (who wouldn't be?!), he's come out the other side! The only charm he displayed was when he had to wear the dreaded cone of shame. Thank heavens that’s behind him now, and he's thriving! 🎉 Bear’s gentle heart is a treasure. He absolutely loves treats, sniffing them out from across the room like the little detective he is. Plus, he’s all about those fun enrichment activities like snuffle mats—dear friends, they bring out his sharp, inquisitive nose! 🐶 He adores a good chat; just mention his name and watch him tilt his head sweetly as he listens intently, hanging onto every word. While belly rubs may not be his favorite, he will gladly curl up beside you to soak in soft, reassuring pets.
