✨ Meet Strawberry Lemonade, affectionately known as Berries or Bear! 🐻 This magnificent St. Bernard lady has a story that will tug at your heartstrings. Found at a mountain pass in Lukachukai, AZ, she was heartbreaking and starved, desperately trying to care for her five tiny newborns. Through sheer strength and love, she kept her puppies alive despite her own struggles. 💖 But that’s not the end of her journey! After her rescue, it came to light that her struggles with walking weren’t just due to malnutrition. X-rays showed no broken bones, and an MRI revealed diagnosing her with Cerebellar Hypoplasia—a condition where the cerebellum, which helps with balance and coordination, is malformed. 🎢 While Bear may wobble and require a bit more assistance on stairs and getting into cars, she’s otherwise a happy, healthy girl living life to the fullest without any pain. 🐾 This sweet girl has a heart as big as her stature! Berries was a phenomenal mom to her puppies, and despite them finding new homes, she has embraced the role of surrogate mom with open arms. 🥰 She’s formed instant bonds with recent foster puppies, showing immense love and warmth. Berries adapts beautifully to her environment, claiming her spot within our pack like she’s always belonged. And let’s not forget about her love for adventures! 🚗 From delightful walks to epic car rides, she’s always up for exploring the great outdoors. She’s fully potty trained, enjoys her cozy dog bed at night, and walks beautifully on a leash. With her adorable stubbornness and sensitivity, she’s truly the best big girl you could ever meet! We estimate she’s around 2 years old and has brought so much joy into our lives—watching her heal and thrive has been a blessing. 🌼 Bear may have a disability, but let me tell you, she’s not limited!
