Meet Opal, folks! 🌟 This lovely girl waltzed into our world as a sprightly puppy, alongside her incredible mom and five playful littermates, all the way from the Towaoc animal control facility. While her mom was a compact and charming 35 lb. kelpie mix, the identity of her dad remains a delightful mystery! 🎉 Now, this is where Opal’s story truly shines. Upon landing here, it became apparent that there was something a tad unique about her hind end mobility and the shape of her spine. And guess what? A little vet magic revealed that Opal has a wedge-shaped vertebra towards the end of her back, causing her spine to do a little dance around it! 💃 While she may need a wheelchair down the road, our dear Opal has several golden years ahead of her to bask in all the joy she deserves. Despite the challenges, Opal carries a heart full of love and happiness! 💖 She’s a true testament that even in the face of adversity, there’s so much to cherish. Opal is not just super sweet; she’s fully vetted, great with other dogs, walks beautifully on a leash, and has quite the cozy crate manners when the sun sets. This incredible girl is around a year old and weighs just over 50 lbs of pure love! 🐾💞 She’s on the lookout for her angel – someone who will embrace her quirks and shower her with the love she craves.
