Meet Jake, a heartwarming 2-3 year old, 20lb bundle of joy who might just be the sparkle in your life! 🥰 This charming Schnauzer/Poodle mix (or maybe not—you know how those adorable mixes can be a mystery!) was discovered as a stray, abandoned in a shelter in Kansas. When Jake was found, he was accompanied by a couple of other dogs, but while they were terrified, our brave Jake was the calmest of the bunch. 🐾✨ He has been with his loving foster family for a couple of months now, and let me tell you, he has truly blossomed into a wonderful companion! Initially, he was sporting a tangled mess of a coat, but after a much-needed shave, his new soft, fluffy fur is starting to grow back beautifully. While we can’t guarantee he’s hypoallergenic due to his mixed heritage, he does seem to be mostly non-shedding. Regular grooming appointments are a must for this dapper pup to keep him looking and feeling fabulous! 💇‍♂️❤️ Jake is all about finding that special bond. He’s a loyal gentleman, often following his foster dad around like a little shadow and snuggling up for some sweet downtime. If there’s one thing he needs, it’s a loving human or humans who will give him the space and time to build trust at his own pace. With a little patience, Jake will surely bond with his forever family just as he has with his foster dad. He thrives in a calm environment and would do wonders in a home with a playful and confident canine buddy to show him the ropes. 🌟🐶 Jake gets along well with cats too, so he’d make a fantastic addition to a multi-pet household! This little adventurer has been loving his walks around the neighborhood and the fun of romping around in the backyard with his doggy friends. And when it's time to wind down?
