Meet Foxy! 🦊 This stunning girl is truly a sight to behold, making it impossible to resist calling her by that name! Rescued from the streets of Baja in Ensenada, she faced the challenges of being a pregnant stray who gave birth shortly before her planned spay. While her adorable six pups have already found their way, poor Foxy found herself at a local shelter, where she was deemed 'too shy' to pass the intake exam. But lucky for her, she caught the attention of the wonderful folks at ARWOB, who specialize in finding homes for the underdogs, especially those sweet souls who are a bit more reserved. ❤️ Foxy is not just charming with her looks; she’s a lovebug at heart! She adores human companionship more than anything, making her what you'd call a 'human dog' rather than a 'dog dog.' This means that while she’s dog friendly and can enjoy playtime once she’s comfortable, she really thrives on the warmth and affection of her human friends. No drama here—Foxy is the epitome of a laid-back gal! She has been around cats and children and handled both with grace, although she does prefer the company of adults. Currently, Foxy is crate trained and mostly house trained, with a little extra learning expected since she’ll be enrolling in a dog obedience class soon to master the art of living as a perfect pet dog. Fun fact: Foxy bears a striking resemblance to the Schip and Corgi breeds! 🐾 While she may not be purely one of those breeds genetically, she sure has the looks and could be the perfect fit for someone who appreciates that adorable appearance—just picture an actual fox! 🦊 As of 11/24, Foxy is on the lookout for a foster in central San Diego while she awaits her spay appointment on 12/1/25 in North Park.
