This fabulous little character is a tiny black Mini Schnauzer mix with a heart as big as her spirit! 🖤 At just 3 years old and 10 pounds of pure joy, Chickie has a story that will melt your heart! She came to us from the shelter with her little ones and took her mama duties very seriously. Now that her puppies are off to their forever homes, it’s time for this delightful girl to find hers. Chickie starts her day bright and early at 7 a.m., ready for that all-important potty break and a delicious breakfast at 9. 🥣 It took her no time to grasp that outdoor potty breaks are the way to go—life is all about those routines! And oh my, has she ever blossomed into a happy, easygoing companion! This lovely lady absolutely adores being close to her humans and always makes sure to keep tabs on everyone (she’s basically the family’s little watch pup! 🕵️). Chickie is incredibly affectionate, and if belly rubs are involved, you can bet she’s all in! 🤗 With a playful side to boot, she loves a good game of fetch and takes her favorite toy, Lambchop, very seriously! 🎾 In her foster home, Chickie is respectful of the three resident pooches and knows how to play nicely. While she hasn't been crated, she has shown she can settle nicely when left alone (but may offer a little whine for the first five minutes). On walks, she’s a star on the leash—enjoying the fresh air, but she might have a bark or two for passing dogs. 🐕🐾 A little bark at new people is her way of saying “Hello!” but don’t worry, she quickly realizes they’re just friends she hasn’t met yet! Chickie is smart and highly food motivated, which makes her an eager learner and a great candidate for tricks and basic training!
