Introducing the beautiful Penny! 🎉 This adorable lady’s journey began back in 2018 when she was transferred to the shelter as a spunky young pup from the Chula Vista Animal Care Facility. Although she was happily adopted then, life took an unexpected turn, and she found her way back to the love and care of her foster family this past July. While originally thought to be a Labrador/Boxer mix, we now believe her to be a marvelous Basenji mix. ✨ Isn’t it fascinating how our furry friends reveal themselves as they grow? Penny is a charming dog with a heart full of love! But beneath her adorable face lies a sensitive spirit that developed some anxiety in her previous home. 🌈 It's been a journey for this sweet girl, and her hurdles transformed into fear-based reactivity due to her earlier environment.
