The adoption fee is just $100, which is a small price to pay for unconditional love, loyalty, and all those adorable puppy dog eyes! 🐾 But hold on, because we have some steps to follow here before you bring your new friend home! First, a home visit and vet reference are required to ensure every pup goes to the best home possible. Applications must be submitted through the Buddy App, and let’s clear this up: WE DO NOT DO SAME DAY ADOPTIONS, folks! 🛑 This is serious commitment, and it takes a little time to ensure the perfect match. Once you’ve filled out that application in the Buddy App (and you can apply for up to three pets!), we’ll swing into action. We will review your vet reference and conduct a virtual home visit. You can expect to hear back from us within 24-48 hours on weekdays (weekends are a no-go because we can’t reach the vet offices). Let’s make sure you’re ready for all the wagging tails and puppy cuddles! To speed up the process, if you rent, including a copy of your lease that says pets are allowed will make everything smoother. If you’ve had a pet in the last two years, please list that vet as your reference! If not, a personal reference works just as well—someone who knows you will shower your new fur baby with love! Once that initial process is all wrapped up, we’ll set up an appointment for you to meet your future best friend! (Just remember, appointments can be made on weekdays or weekends after 5 pm, depending on staff availability).
