Rescued as an emaciated stray, Houdini was pulled from the brink by none other than Rose Rittenhour, the incredible Founder and President of The Retirement Roost Rescue in beautiful Vernon, VT. After receiving crucial medical attention, including a wellness exam, vaccinations, and neutering, Houdini transitioned to FLOA to heal, chill out, and pack on some much-needed fluff! 💖 Houdini is a bit shy and cautious around people, but let’s just say, the feline kingdom is his jam! 🐾 After joining a mini-cat colony upstairs, he hit it off with his buddies Orin (our founder's fabulous feline) and Auggie (another lovely rescue!). Houdini loves to play and groom his friends, proving that while he may be a bit timid, his heart is filled with love! 💞 Now, here’s the scoop! Houdini isn't exactly a fan of men, often showing signs of stress when one is nearby. However, with time, he's learned to feel comfy with a male caregiver, proving that trust can blossom anew! 🌼 Marked by his past, Houdini hasn’t yet embraced physical affection, but don’t let that fool you—this little guy purrs and kneads like a champ when praised.
