Gwennie was trapped/rescued last Sunday. A colony feeder alerted us to her and Meryl went to trap her which was easy. The feeder told us she had two litters in the last year and a half. Finally she will never have to have another litter or survive in harsh outdoor conditions again! She is now fully vetted and ready for adoption. We are still getting to know her, but she is obviously friendly and seems grateful to be inside with regular meals, love, and affection. We require adopters to fill out an application, have basic references checked, allow a home visit and video tour (to ensure conditions are safe and reasonable), and pay an adoption fee. We allow all adopters an up-to-2-week-long tryout period to determine if the cat(s) is a good match for them. If not, we will retrieve the cat(s) and return the adoption fee in full.
