This beautiful kitty has traveled a tough road, transitioning from a city shelter to our cozy second-floor space, and she’s here to spread her joy like glitter on a craft table! 🎨✨ Obsidian's journey hasn’t been easy. She came to us with a pelvic fracture, a heart-wrenching injury often linked to cruelty or being hit by a car. Can you believe she was even thrown from a window? 😩 But let me tell you, this resilient girl fought hard to recover! Her recovery needed some serious TLC. She required a dedicated staff member to help her manage her bladder three times a day. And oh, the joy we felt when Obsidian took her first steps toward independence and did her business all on her own! 🎉 A milestone worth celebrating, indeed! After being on strict cage rest longer than any kitty would like (way too long, if you ask her!), she’s now out and about, living her best life! Obsidian is friendly, chatty, and adorably playful. But take note: she can get a bit overstimulated—even a superstar deserves a break! She'll let you know ever so gently when it’s time to pause the playtime.
