He faced some tough times, my friends. Upon his arrival at the rescue, he had severely matted fur and some serious dental issues – a real hard-knock life! 😢 But oh, how the tides have turned! Thanks to our dedicated Medical Team, he’s had a fabulous makeover, complete with a dental cleaning and fur shave. Now, he's not just looking great, he's feeling fantastic too! 🌟 But here’s the scoop: Oswald has diabetes, and to keep him thriving, he needs a special low-carb diet (yes, canned food only, please!) alongside his twice-daily insulin shots. 🍼💉 His future adopter must already have an established relationship with a vet, as it’s key to keeping him on track. Not to worry, because his lovely caregivers will provide training on how to manage his diabetes and even send you home with all his necessary supplies, including a blood-glucose testing kit! Just a tiny note – he won't be jumping into your arms on the same day you meet; he'll need a little time for those preparations. ⏳ Now, about his social needs: our darling Oswald has become an absolute favorite among the volunteers, but he prefers to be the star of the show. 🎤✨ A single cat household would be ideal for this lovely gentleman, where he can soak up all the cuddles and attention he deserves!
