Meet the oh-so-lovable Daisy, a beacon of resilience wrapped in fluffy cuteness! 🌼 This little darling has been through the wringer, and yet she still finds it in her heart to trust us humans. Sweet Daisy’s journey began when she and her brother were poorly abandoned on the streets. Can you imagine? Left all alone when her family moved. 😢 The heartbreak didn’t stop there—her brother tragically met a cruel fate, leaving Daisy vulnerable and alone. Thankfully, the compassion of a kind-hearted neighbor saved her life as they started to bring her food. But that wasn’t enough, as Daisy was fighting her own battles outside. 😿 Her once shiny fur dulled, and sickness began to creep in. Eventually, her neighbor took her in, but unfortunately, Daisy had contracted FeLV, making it impossible for them to keep her. The quest to find her a safe haven was real! With not nearly enough FeLV rescues, the waitlist seemed daunting. Yet, this wonderful neighbor refused to give up and came all the way to us, even though we’re 16 hours apart! Talk about commitment! 🛣️ It quickly became clear to us why Daisy is worth every mile. She is an absolute treasure! Daisy adores snuggling with her human companions but isn’t clingy—she values her independence too. Oh, and don’t get us started on her playtime! She is a playful little sprite, and just wait until you hear her adorable chirps! 🐦 You’ll find yourself engaged in sweet little conversations with her, despite sometimes wondering what on Earth she’s talking about. But that’s part of her charm! She also maintains impeccable litter habits, even going the extra mile to wipe her paws after using the litter box!
