Introducing Chester, the delightful and oh-so-unique 4-year-old domestic short hair, whose journey began when he was brought in as a lost, injured kitty on 10/24/25. This dashing fellow had a large abscess on his neck that required him to wear one of those infamous cones for nearly a month! But let me tell you, getting a good photo of Chester? Now that’s the real challenge! With his adorable antics, like propping his elbow on his food bowl or pushing his blanket around while stretching out, he’s unintentionally become quite the comedian! 😂 Just when one tries to capture his charming poses, he shifts or hops up as if he knows he’s putting on a show! Chester simply thrives on affection! This love bug adores being petted, particularly under that gorgeous chin or on his thick neck. And when he hears the rattle of a gate, he’s up in a flash, filled with hope for a pet or a hold! His favorite spot? Your lap! That's the only time this lovable guy stays put—needless to say, many of his photos showcase the back of his gloriously fluffy head! 🥰 With a playful spirit, endless curiosity, and a fearless attitude, Chester’s ultimate goal is to soak up all the love he can get! Now, at a solid 15.2 lbs, Chester’s heart is just as big! An adoption fee of $70 helps cover his neuter, vaccinations, testing, microchip, and all those lovely bits of care while at CCHS. However, Chester does come with a little note: he is FeLV+, which means he has feline leukemia virus. While FeLV is not cancer, it does mean that Chester’s immune system is a bit more delicate. But fear not! With a loving home, a healthy diet, and regular vet visits, he can still live a happy, fulfilling life.
