Meet the enchanting Lissa! 🌟 This sweet soul was left behind in a mobile home without any heat for two long weeks during winter. Can you imagine? ❄️ Thankfully, a kind neighbor caught a glimpse of her little face peering out the window and came to the rescue! When Lissa first arrived, she was battling an upper respiratory infection and a nasty ear infection, but don’t let that fool you! This brave little lady has shown nothing but resilience and love. ❤️ Every day, she blossoms a little more and is ready to share her heart with a forever family who understands the importance of warmth—both in the home and in their hearts. Lissa does best in indoor homes unless she becomes part of our barn cat program. 🏠 It’s important that she finds a special place where she can feel safe and cherished. Please remember that home visits are required, and to keep everything cozy and close, we limit adoptions to those within approximately 45 minutes from Cedar Rapids, IA. Iowa adoptions only, folks—sorry, no out-of-state takes for our Lissa!
