Meet the incredible Neville! This brave little guy has a story that could melt the toughest of hearts. In May of 2025, he faced an unimaginable trauma when he was shot with what’s thought to be an air-soft type gun in Wilmington. Left injured and unable to eat for nearly three weeks, Neville was just waiting for his hero to arrive! 🌟 Enter a kind Samaritan who alerted our dedicated trapper Shelby, who rushed to his side. What she found was heartbreaking, but Neville, with his strength and resilience, recognized help when he saw it and went right into her trap! Upon arriving at Forgotten Cats, Neville was in rough shape, severely dehydrated and starving. You could barely lift his precious head. We didn’t know if he would make it through the night, but our compassionate veterinary team stepped in with a flurry of care – antibiotics, fluid therapy, some love, and a little bit of liquid gold (nutrition) to boost his spirits 🌈. Thanks to them and his own fighting spirit, this charming boy pulled through, proving that no challenge is too great for love! Now, Neville is ready to find his forever home! He’s a social butterfly who absolutely adores the company of others, including any other FeLV+ cats out there.
