Temperament
Collies are typically affectionate and devoted with their families, and polite but reserved with strangers. Many are patient with children, though herding habits can mean circling or nipping at heels. They respond best to kind, reward-based training and can become anxious with harsh handling. Alert barking at passersby is common on Tulsa's close-set residential blocks.
