Meet BEAU! Beau is a gorgeous 2.5 year old, 37 pound male black and white Collie/Spaniel mix. He is very sweet and lovable, seems to understand house training and is crate trained. He is excited to meet people (of all ages) and nuzzles up to you for head rubs or belly rubs. He loves to go for walks but also settles down nicely to hang out with his people. He has done great with other dogs. Beau ended up at a rural North Carolina shelter, and we can only imagine how he wondered why his family did not come to take him home. After a month at the overcapacity shelter, a local foster agreed to temporarily give him a safe place to stay until we could bring this extremely sweet dog into PetConnect. He is so happy that PetConnect has come to his rescue and brought him to the DC area to find a forever family that will give him the attention that he deserves and never abandon him to such a scary place as a kill-shelter ever again. Beau would love to curl up with you to hang out on a spring night!
