Meet Maxwell! Maxwell is a 3 year old 'Bernedoodle' (Bernese Mountain Dog and Poodle mix) who weighs 60 pounds. His foster family describes him as a &quot;big, loveable goof!&quot; Maxwell is a big sweetheart who listens well. He likes to shake hands/paws and he's great with other dogs and with cats, too! He's housebroken and is just an all around good boy. Max has known love his whole life, but his family was unfortunately unable to keep him due to their living situation - so we are honored with the task of finding him his new Forever Family.<br/>Maxwell must have a home with a fence, hopefully with another dog close to his size to play with, and experience with a dog that get anxious when left alone. Maxwell has had separation anxiety his entire life, so he is now on a mild anti-anxiety medication. This has helped greatly as his foster parents' state that he barks for about 30 minutes, then quiets when kenneled; but if left loose when they are gone, he will circle the house a few times, then lay down and sleep the rest of the work day. Maxwell will make a wonderful dog for a family that has someone around the home daily, works from home, or a stay at home mom. But we have had no problem in foster care with him being left at home while on his medication. ...
