Meet Trax! Trax, along with eleven other cats, were abandoned inside a U-Haul in a neighboring community with no local animal control agency. When we arrived, the cats were found living in unimaginable conditions—dehydrated, underweight, frightened, and trapped inside a truck covered in urine and feces. Earlier that same week, we had taken in 23 other cats and kittens connected to this SAME situation. Our shelter was already stretched thin. Every kennel, every foster home, every available inch of space matters right now! The difficult truth? We are already beyond capacity. However, with temperatures rising, we knew doing nothing wasn’t an option. Leaving them there could have been a death sentence. When animals are suffering and no one else is coming, what do you do? You make room. You find a way. You say yes regardless of jurisdictions. We are still getting to know Tacoma, but we would love for you to stop by and meet him, or any of the other pets waiting for homes.
