About Carmelo

Meet Carmelo! The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat ***Carmelo is FeLV Positive. https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-leukemia-virus-brochure Carmelo is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or locations along their route. Carmelo is the perfect mix of playful energy and cuddle bug charm. This sweet little boy loves attention and will happily soak up all the pets you're willing to give. Whether he's chasing toys, exploring around the house, or curling up beside you for snuggles, Carmelo is happiest when he's with his people. Friendly and affectionate, Carmelo has an easygoing personality that make him a wonderful companion. He's the kind of kitten who will meet you at the door, follow you around for love, and then settle in for a cozy nap after playtime. If you're looking for a kitten who's equal parts fun and loving, Carmelo is ready to steal your heart! Carmelo is ~3 months old, neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. He does a great job of keeping his litterbox tidy. All he needs now is his forever home! Carmelo's family are Mother Muneca (F), Lucero (M), Chepito (F), Garfield (M), Catalina (F), and Floresita (F) Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens, siblings, or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Information on why adopting two kittens together is best for their short- and long-term health and behavior can be found here: http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens --- ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you’re doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts!
