Meet Cove Cove is a sweet, soft-hearted girl who is looking for a patient and loving forever home. We believe she and her sister are Plott Hound mixes, and while Cove can be a little shy at first, underneath that timid exterior is an incredibly loving and gentle dog. She’s the kind of girl who just needs a day or two to settle in and feel safe. Once she does, her sweet personality really starts to shine. In her foster home, there’s a 4-year-old child she was nervous around at first, but after a couple of days she relaxed beautifully and has been doing really well. Cove loves the comfort of her crate, sleeps through the night, and is very snuggly once she trusts you. She has a calm, chill personality and is wonderfully well-behaved. She also seems to do well with other dogs and doesn’t appear to have any issues being around them. Cove is currently heartworm positive, but she is expected to make a full recovery and her treatment is fully covered. Right now, she’s happy, comfortable, and ready to find a family who will give her the patience and love she deserves.
