Andy is chaos. Love. Hunger. Speed. Velcro. Comedy. And this is all after he has been through approximately 47 business years worth of nonsense in his very short life. This furry child has been with us for over a year now. He has had not one, but TWO fosters. He celebrated his first birthday still waiting for a home of his own, which frankly feels illegal considering how objectively delightful he is. Now before anyone starts blaming Andy for this injustice, let's review the situation: He came in looking rough. Like rough rough. We did bloodwork. Fecals. X-rays. Tests on tests on tests. Enough diagnostics to qualify him for his own medical drama series (Paging Dr. House!!). We investigated this cat like he was a federal case. And after all of that? A parasite. Not even a cool dramatic diagnosis. Just one incredibly stubborn microscopic loser ruining Andy's vibe for months. BUT LOOK AT HIM NOW. Silky coat. Giant beautiful eyes. Full belly. Thriving. Moisturized. Flourishing. And because life loves making him extra unique, Andy's growth was stunted while he was sick, meaning although he is technically over a year old, he's about the size of a 5-month-old kitten permanently. So let's review the selling points here: You want a forever tiny cat? Andy. You want a cute little stubby tail? Andy. You want a cat that is physically incapable of leaving you alone? ANDY. You want a creature that plays like a toddler who just discovered espresso? Also Andy. This boy has SO much energy to make up for now that he finally feels good. Months and months of being sick and tired, now finally feeling good. Yeah, this boy has unlocked a new appreciation for life and chosen to express it by becoming an unstoppable force of zoomies and affection. He runs. He launches himself. He eats like food is being outlawed tomorrow. He loves with his entire tiny body. So, dear god, this cat will need a kitty friend. Not optional. Mandatory. Someone needs to help him burn off the endless reserves of kitten insanity he has apparently been storing for a year. Andy is funny, weird, tiny, clingy, adorable, and genuinely one of those cats that makes a house feel alive. He waited long enough. Please come get this man out of foster care before he evolves into heat-seeking missile or something.
