About 10 years ago, Panda started coming around his first family's house in Pomona, CA when he saw his buddy get attention and food. He wanted in on the action too! He was a friendly cat, so he was easy to care for, and his finders took him into their home full time. Panda is FIV+, but it does not slow him down, nor does he need special treatment or to be isolated from other cats. Panda's family unfortunately cannot take him where they are moving, so we are helping him find a home to live out his golden years. It's important to note that Panda has had a bite history since entering the shelter, likely due to stress, as his previous owners say he never bit in the home. We always recommend practicing consent checks with all kitties, including Panda, by pausing to read their body language frequently when petting and handling them.
