Meet Roxy, the 9 year old black and white domestic long hair kitty! She came to us after her owner passed away and now she needs a new place to call home. She was a little shy when she first came in, but has now been loving pets and attention from our staff and volunteers. She has been enjoying some pampering and brushing of her long lushious fur. While this sweet lady enjoys getting love, she can also get a little overstimulated, so she would do best in a cat savvy home who knows the ins and outs of cat behavior to help her thrive. Roxy is a senior kitty, so she may need more frequent vet visits to keep her happy and healthy, so future adopters should keep this in mind. Although she is technically a senior, she doesn’t show it and still has plenty of life left in her! If you are looking for a loveable lady, come meet Roxy! Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them
