Thanks to a wonderful wave of recent adoptions over the last several weeks, we found ourselves with the open kennel space and the perfect opportunity to lend a helping hand to a couple of our surrounding shelters in need. Fantasia is a fantastic, manageable size right around 50 pounds, making her the perfect companion for all kinds of adventures. While we are still getting to know her day by day, she comes to us with glowing reviews and was an absolute staff favorite during her time in Cedar Rapids. Because she has experienced a lot of big adjustments in a very short amount of time, Fantasia is still settling in and processing all the changes. She can be a little reserved right now, but we already know that with continued patience, a predictable routine, and plenty of TLC, her true personality is going to shine through more and more each day. One thing we know for sure is that she absolutely loves her walks. She is a true fan of the great outdoors and thrives when she is able to get outside, explore, and get all her important "sniffs" in.
