Snickerdoodle is a 9-year-old, 9lb miniature pinscher/dachsund/chi mix (maybe?) with a big personality packed into a tiny, low rider body. He’s a certified couch potato who prefers short strolls, sunny patio naps, and burrowing under his favorite blanket to recharge. While he’s not a lap dog, he absolutely loves his people and shows it with enthusiastic greetings and plenty of sweet face kisses. This little guy is incredibly friendly with people and adores kids, happily saying hello to anyone he meets on his adventures. Snickerdoodle gets along well with other dogs too, though he appreciates polite canine manners and a calmer playmate. After some time to warm up, he may even initiate a little play session himself. He is fully potty trained, walks beautifully on leash (at his own slow and steady pace), rides great in the car, and can be trusted free roaming at home. Snickerdoodle would thrive with someone looking for an easygoing companion who enjoys bringing their dog along for errands, patio hangs, and leisurely neighborhood walks. He loves to sunbathe, chase the occasional squirrel, and keep a watchful eye on the world around him. A secure yard is important since this curious little explorer can be an escape artist. No communal toys can be laying around Good with kids - because of his small size and age, we will only consider kids in the home over 8 years old Crate Trained Potty Trained *Medical: he is slightly anemic. We recommend getting bloodwork done every 6 months to track anemia levels and manage as needed per a vet's recommendation. *PLEASE NOTE: all of our dogs are fostered in Houston, TX, where our rescue is based.
