Meet Sonny! 🎉 This sweet, energetic young puppy is approximately 7 months old and tips the scales at a delightful 15–20 pounds. He’s like a burst of sunshine in a furry package, bringing joy to his foster home as he learns and grows. 🌟 Sonny is one smart cookie, y’all! 🧠 He’s embraced his puppy energy with open paws, and while he has his spirited moments, he’s also incredibly sweet and affectionate. Picture this: he’s already crate trained and knows the command “Home,” comfortably retreating to his crate for some chill time! Talk about a clever pup! 🙌 Potty training is going splendidly too; after a few early hiccups, Sonny is now a pro at doing his business outside and has never made a mess in his crate. Leash walking is still a bit of an adventure for our boy—he loves to stop and smell the roses (or maybe just the grass) along the way! 🌼 While he hasn’t been around kids or cats just yet, he lives with two adult dogs: a majestic 95 lb German Shepherd mix and a sprightly 38 lb GSD. They’re still warming up to him, but can you imagine the trio of tail-wagging joy? And let’s not forget about his buddy, a 12 lb Chihuahua/Pug mix—Sonny plays nice, proving he’s the friendliest pup in the pack! 🐾 With the personality of a true gem, Sonny adores belly rubs and chest scratches that turn him into a little “kick starter.” 😂 He’s a delightful cuddle bug who enjoys sitting in laps and entertaining himself by chasing his tail (and barking at it too, because why not?). He has an ear for music and lights up whenever the Sesame Street theme plays! 🎶 Plus, he loves chew toys and playing fetch—he’s already got the fetching down to a science! Ongoing training has him mastering “sit” and working on “stay,” but he’s still learning that jumping and puppy mouths are best kept in check. With a sprinkle of love, a dash of patience, and heaps of attention, Sonny will grow into a magnificent and loyal companion that will steal your heart! ❤️ Currently, Sonny is located in Houston, TX, but don’t fret—he can be transported to most states for a reasonable fee.
