About Goldie In Mo

The adoption process starts with an Online Adoption Application you can find at 'https://www.adoptaboston.com/adoption-application. Phone interviews do not take place til after an approved application is on file and we have a possible match for your home My name is Goldie. I am 1.5 years old and weigh 20 pounds. I need a new home because I am a breeder release. I am being fostered in St. Louis, MO. I can be a little shy and nervous at first, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE my foster humans! Being cuddled up on the couch with lots of kisses and pets is my ideal day. I learn quickly and aim to please my humans. I am so happy to be surrounded by love and my foster parents think I would be a great fit for any home. I also love to be active and play outside. I am around four other dogs of all sizes in my foster home and I’ve done great with them all. I’m very submissive and like to follow their lead. I’ve just discovered what toys are and those have been my favorite too! I do tend to get excited and REALLY love my kisses, so I could use some training on my manners. Overall, though, my foster parents say I’ve been a really good girl and have caught on quickly. I love cuddling my humans on the couch and giving kisses. I have the cutest wiggle butt when I’m excited! I get along with everyone!! I don’t like being alone in my kennel. But if I’m paired up with my foster dog sibling, I do great! I need a little time to warm up and feel secure. I also need some training on my manners when I’m excited (I like to jump and give lots of kisses). Here's a little more about me: Housetrained? Yes! All our dogs are spayed/neutered (if six months and older), up to date on rabies and distemper, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption. MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing. MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR due to the lack of volunteer support in other states, no exception even if you are willing to drive.
