Although he recently underwent surgery to have his right eye removed, he’s healing like a champ! 🥳 Nelly is currently receiving treatment for heartworm, so he's on a journey to health before he can officially find his forever home. His amazing foster has captured his spirit beautifully: "Nelly has blossomed in our care! When he first arrived in Colorado, he was a bundle of nerves, all scared and timid. But now? Oh my goodness, this sweet pup has come out of his shell! 🐶💨 He absolutely loves to run around the yard, zooming with joy as he lets loose with those adorable zoomies! And that little tail of his? It finally found its wag! 🐕💖 Plus, he's an absolute gentleman with his feline foster sister, showcasing his gentle heart.
