Meet Asha, the vibrant 2-year-old sweetheart with the soul of a puppy! At 56 pounds, she's a gorgeous mix of pittie, boxer, and lab, graced with a sleek black coat and charming white accents that make her look like a little work of art. You know what’s wild? Asha had quite the adventure after that, needing surgery to remove a foreign body from her tummy that turned out to be a little billiard ball. Her tail wags like it’s got its own party going on! 🥳 Asha is a true cuddle bug and is always ready to snuggle with her favorite people. This darling lady is house trained, gets along well with medium or large dogs (though she's still unsure about those tiny pooches), but she’s just not a fan of cats—sorry, feline friends! When Asha takes a stroll on her leash, it could be a bit of an adventure, especially if she spots a squirrel! 🐿️ But don't worry, she’s a great co-pilot in the car, sleeps soundly through the night, and is currently brushing up on her sit commands with a keen interest in treats—she takes them gently! Although she hasn't been around kids in her foster home, her exuberance and size lead us to believe she’d fit in well with older kids. She’s on a journey to gain weight but is receiving all the love and nutrition she needs. And fear not, Asha isn’t a big barker, nor is she destructive—she’s just curious enough to check out toys without getting into anything she shouldn’t. Now for a little health update: Asha is heartworm positive, but that’s just a bump in the road. She’s on the rescue’s slow kill protocol, and the best part?
